Caitlin Graduated form the "Red Wagon" preschool yesterday! it was so much fun! she was so happy!

I thought this was so cute, a grandpa from one of the other girls, saw Caitlin sitting alone in this Little table and he came and sat with her, and then that other little boy follow!

this days my "mother wood " is being shared with my sweet niece Laura, so Caitlin graduating from preschool is a lot thanks to her! Thanks Laura for all you do for us!! We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday we went to down town Salt Lake to spend some time as a family, it was so much fun (even Max enjoyed the museum at the discovery gate way!)

We went to Indiana for the Funeral of Grandpa Brown, Max was named after him, it was Max's dad's Dad, since his dad passed away when Max was 13yrs old, this was a particularly difficult thing for Max and me, Grandpa Max was one of the first ones on accepting me into the Brown family, and I didn't had to work for it, he and uncle Ron.. if I remember correctly they told Max..."she is a keeper!"he was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed!

this are " the Connects" Max told me they cooked Sunday dinner for Max and his family for a year after Max's dad passed away.. now that is Charity!!!!!!!!!

this is" Brother Abbit" he leaved next door to Grandpa's Brown farm and I just find out that Max and Justin started a fire right in the middle of both properties back in the day!!

This is Karen, it was Ron's 1st wife (uncle Ron) she is such a sweet lady! she took care of Grandpa till the last moment.

We went to my sister's house for Halloween, it was so much fun!! my cute niece Laura took the kids trunk or treating!

Q's home coming! We went to Idaho to see my brother in law, how just came back from a mission in Buenos Aires!

My favorite part of the trip? I got to spend time with my two newest nephews, Corbin and Amon!

It was so nice to see all the Brown family together!! we missed Marisa and the girls and Brent and their kids, but all the original Brown family was there, it was fun!

After spending the day at my sister's house, we went to pick up Max at work, right in front of his office there is a stream,

the kids couldn't resist the water (even though it was 11 pm at night and I was running out of batteries... they had more energy than I've ever seen)

I don't know how many times I told them to stay away and to be careful, but I guess my kids have developed a resistance to my voice and ignored it completely!

the water was very shallow so I thought I will teach them a lesson, so I let them keep playing in it, and what happened??.....

Caitlin fell in!!!!!!! she was so sad poor little girl, Max and I were laughing so hard we couldn't help her!! I think she will listen to me next time! (ha,ha,ha)

So my little girl turn 7 yrs old on Friday!! I can't believe how fast time is going by, Max had to work and since I haven't seen my sister in a while, we went and spend the day at her house.

As every b-date Nicholle ever had, she dressed up as a princess (according to her you are never old enough for that!)

we had tons of treats and a beautiful cake that my sister got her, it was so much fun!!

BEAR LAKE

I was crazy enough to let my husband convince me to take a little detour and go to Bear Lake on our way to our family reunion in Idaho!!

the whole thing started by him telling me about the "raspberry festival" and how much he wanted a raspberry milk shake... (that he never ended up getting!!)

there is something about water and kids.. again in a few minutes the girls were in the water! we were there for only 2 hrs, so in resume we took a 2 1/2 hrs detour, to put our feet in the water and get a burger (that is wasn't that good!) ha,ha

hey! at least the kids had fun... but, note to myself... never agree to stay 6 1/2 hrs with screaming kids in a car...what was I thinking!!

COTTONWOOD RIVER

It is sad that we had lived in Utah for 12 years and there are so many things we haven't seen
for example this river, it is up in the mountains and it is so quiet and clam up there!

It didn't take long for the kids to get in the water... (even though we weren't dress for that!)

Michael was trying to play cool for a while, but in a few minutes he said "Mom I will get in the water to help the girls!! .. yeah right!!

We normally do the whole parade thing, but this year we decided to go and have fun as a family, we took the kids jumping and we played some games,..it was so much fun.

Max and Michael played a game of air hockey ... which I'm happy to report Michael won!!ha,ha

afterwords we went out to lunch, Caitlin and Nicholle are definitely "Daddy's little girls!

Michael is mommy's cool little guy! I love talking to him.. he is such a grown up!

We had so much fun... and best of all... I didn't have to cook!!

I can honestly say this was my best B-date EVER, I had to work, but when I woke up, my niece had made me a sign for my b-date and Max had left me a beautiful card with a letter, then while I was at work, he borrowed the neighbor's car and brought me Flowers!! how sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

When I got home, Laura had made me a cake and the kids helped....... It was the best day ever!!

What a fun place!! we went there over the weekend, it is a great family activity if you need a cheep and family friendly place to go.

as you can see my son Michael, talked on his phone a lot (ha,ha) and Nicholle doing her funny faces again!

we couldn't get enough of the pool, it was so relaxing!

the line to get in it was long, but we were there very early so it was great!

Michael and I got the chance to go to the premier of "Eclipse" Our insurance company got us tickets for June 29th, it was so much fun!!

We got free popcorn and drinks.. Michael was so exited.. he is a big "Edward" fan!I went back to work at the office (it was getting impossible to work with Caitlin at home) so my beautiful nice "Laura" is taking care of the kids when I'm at work, the kids love her, Nicholle told me the other day... Mom why don't you work on Fridays too so Laura can stay longer???

Our great friends Mike and Angie, offer to watch the kids for a few hrs so Max and I could go to the Temple( THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!), we had never gone on a Monday, so we didn't know that it closes at 12pm, Max remember a Restaurant he saw close where our friends live and we decided to go... it was an Argentinian restaurant!!

The food was unbelievable!! and huge portions!! this is a "milanesa a la napolitana con papas fritas" ( a breaded meat with french fries) so good!!

the place is so welcoming, in the front of the restaurant there is a big "mate" Max is standing next to it, for those of you that don't know "Mate" is a typical drink in Argentina ( like an herbal tea)

to my surprise the owner of the restaurant was a mission companion of my older sister Susana,this is a picture of their president " Lozano" it was so good to see him.

This is the owner, such a friendly guy and great cook, he and his family run this Restaurant.

Max's work did this "Daddy work day" it was so much fun, they really went out of town with it!! they asked for pictures of the kids and made them a id card (just like the one that dad uses every day!)

My preteen son Micheal, he is getting cuter by the minute!

We went to the church museum in downtown salt Lake, Max showed the kids how a temple altar looks like and explain to them the importance of eternal families.

Nicholle was particularly surprise when we explain to her that the pioneers had to pack "ALL" their belonging in a wagon.." but is so Small" she said-

This is cool in a very creepy way, since at Joseph Smith time, they didn't have pictures, they made masks of Hiram and Joseph's faces before they were buried, this are the original ones.

Michael was so impress with the fact that the book of Mormon has been translated in so many different languages the same as the Bible.

very impressive!

we read the scriptures every day, but it was so fun for the kids to see the histories come a live.

Max was so good with the kids, explaining all the things to them and answering every question (they had a lot!)

We explain to them all the good things the church does with the tiding, like providing food and clothing to people in need.

there is nothing more exiting that to go to downtown Salt Lake, the church has done such a marvelous job with everything, is beautiful and inviting for the whole family... is a must see thing! Max and I really enjoyed the time we have together and with the kids!

Saturday was Max's b-date, we made some banana muffins and we had a big breakfast!

we had some hot cocoa ( it was cold) and Michael loved it!

Nicholle favorite's part was singing the "Feliz cumpleanos" to Dad!!

and Caitlin was very exited for the candle, she kept trying to blow it off!

We got dressed up and went out! It was so much fun, we eat lunch at "Braza Grill" a Brazilian restaurant that Max and I love!

We finally got to go inside the village "of this is the place" ( we got a season pass) Max was amazed of the wool on the sheep's backs, he kept saying.."look how thick it is!!!"

one of the employees there (acting as a pioneer) was so nice to the kids, he show Caitlin the rabbits and the baby goats.. she loved it!!

It is a hands on place, so it is wonderful for the kids!!

Caitlin loved the "chachos" (pigs) she thought they were the cutest!

Michael couldn't stand the smell, ( I can denied he is my kid!! ha,ha) he cover his nose the whole time!

OUR GARDEN

For family Home evening last night, we worked in our garden, it was so much fun.. (well for the kids! ha,ha) Max was awesome!!

Caitlin thought it was the greatest thing to play with the dirt...( she went to the tub after this! ha,ha)

Michael was in charged of taking the rocks of the vegetables rows ( he was so cute.. he didn't complaint about it!)

Nicholle put new soil on the already existing fruit trees and as you can see she love it!!

and here it is!! our project was finally complete!! It is so much fun to work as a family!

We went with the kids to "this is the Place Park" It is a shame that we live in Utah and we had never gone before now.

Here is the family! it was fun to tell the kids the story of how the Pioneers came to Utah and all the sacrifice they did.

It is a beautiful place, where you can really feel the spirit of the early Pioneers

Nicky and I really liked this statue, it shows pioneer family praying, what a great example!

Michale, like always is such a good helper with his sisters, Caitlin is living up to the "terrible two's" myth... (If you have or ever had a two year old.. you know it is NOT a myth!!!, ha,ha)

HOMESTEAD GET AWAY

My awesome husband plan a get away trip to a place called "Homestead" it was so nice!! (Thanks Honey!!)

The room was incredible!! a little cottage house, it was so quiet!

We went out to dinner to the "Snake Creek Grill" ( the food wasn't that good, but it was fun to go out)

Here we are... we had such a good time, we had breakfast at the homestead and it was soooooo good!!

We ordered a Cinnamon, but nothing could prepared us for this!! yes!! this was the Cinnamon roll.. it was huge!! and so yummy!!

CUB SCOUTS!

I had to post this picture! Max is the Cub Scout Master in our ward, so he was in charged of the pinewood derby race. He plan the whole thing in advance, but the Sunday before he heard that the Young Women in our stake were going to have an activity (knowing how we women are) he called the young women president to make sure his activity would not interfere with there's, and this was the result.. poor Max was kicked out to the hall!! (ha,ha) it wasn't to funny to Max at the moment, but like I told him, the kids had tons of fun.. isn't that what it is important??

I met Angie a few years back when she had just joint the church, I was assign to be her visiting teacher, but I'm sure the Lord knew we would become really good friends, then she met Mike and got married.

Last Saturday I had the blessing of seeing them became an eternal family, they are such an example to me and everyone that they come in contact with (since life has definitely not being easy for Angie and Mike) but being the remarkable people they are, they have over come each and every one of the trail and difficulty that this life has presented to them. This are Bob and George our "sugar Gliders" they are the newest addition to our family, they are the coolest pets you can own, they are very sociables, they are originally from Australia.

Michael has been asking for the longest time to get a pet, since I'm a clean freak, it is hard to find an animal that will be clean and live a long time ( I have a hard time when animal die) The sugar Gliders live to a minimum of 15 years ( I can live with that!!), they are scary looking but they are very gentile, I always say they look like a "Pokemon"they are bonding very well with our family.. specially with Caitlin, who LOVES Georgy ("that is what she calls him) so... welcome to our family "George and Bob"!!!!!!

This for sure was, a long waited weeding. My friend Yolanda got married on February 12,2010 CONGRATULATIONS GIRL!!! we have been friends since collage ( 13yrs) she was there during Michael's pregnancy and many more things, Max even went on a date with her, she is originally from India and speaks like 6 languages ( she is amazing!) I haven't spend too much time with him (Aaron) yet, but he is slowly staring to grow on me. (I'm trying to convince them to move to Utah!) Caitlin has been sick so they kids stayed home for their reception, the kids ( specially Michael) were very disappointed since they love her!! Yolanda and Aaron were so sweet they stop by before going on their honeymoon to see them! THANKS GUYS!

No one can denied that February has been a really fun month for the Brown family, 1st Disneyland and now a Utah Jazz game vs. the Lakers ( we got killed by the way)

here are Jeff and Darren enjoying the game ( I was told that the game got so boring, because of the Jazz loosing for so much, that for the most part they just chatted)

Michael couldn't have been more happy, he loves to spend time with his uncles and his dad ( it is a guy thing! he says)

We went to Disneyland!! and it was so much fun!!!!!!!!! (we had a couple interesting moment with Caitlin.. but over all, it was great!!)

I know it is a little gross, but here is the foot of my sweetheart, who thought it was such a good idea to get up at 7:30am new years day, to go play basketball with his friends at work (why is beyond me!! he sees them every day!! Isn't that enough?? I guess not!)

This is our beautiful Christmas tree, as a tradition we decorated the day after Thanksgiving, it was so much fun, the kids love it!

It was such a moving moment to see all the grand kids running to hugged their grandma!

for those of you, who don't know, my mom served a Mission in the South America South Area (Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina.. how is that for a big area??) she went as a psychologist to set up the LDS Family Services there. GREAT JOB GRANDMA!!

So we started this "HALLOWEEN" experience, by going to the pumpkin patch, where each of the kids pick up a small pumpkin, which they later they decorated,

So against Max's wishes, Nicky got a hair cut!! In my defense, it was not my idea, Nicholle wanted to look like "Dora"

I can't denied that, not having to deal with a long hair with tons of knots every day... is not a good thing, but this was really what Nicky wanted.

While I was cutting her hair, she told her dad.." Daddy, don't be sad.. this is want I want .. I'm growing up and you need to accept that, sorry Daddy!- ( ouch, our little girl is growing up?? when did that happened?? ) I don't know what was harder for Max, that Nicky got a hair cut or the inevitable reality that his little girl, won't be little for ever... Every Wednesday Max has a late day at work, so he is kind enough to get up and send the kids to school all by himself, I just love the way he dress them, he doesn't do Nicholle hair, but he does Michael's ( and he give it an attitude!) ...

I always wonder if the teachers at school think I forgot to take my medication on Wednesdays!! (ha,ha), but I love to stay a few more minutes in bed.. so, NO COMPLAINTS HERE!!

I know it has been for ever since I posted anything here, my computer was so slow that I couldn't used it for anything else than work, but we got a new one and so here we are!! a lot has happened so I will post slowly!

Caitlin is as cute as ever! she talks like crazy and loves to play with Nicholle and takes her food very seriously!! (ha,ha)

Nicholle turn 6 in August!! she is getting so big, loves 1st grade and she is doing great at school!

In July, just before the family reunion, the "Brown boys" went to a fishing trip (more picture to come) I personally love this one!!

And It was my b-date in July and my sweet sister Charito, bought me a beautiful cake and came to see me, THANKS CHARO!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!

I don't know if I would go as far as saying that Michael "LOVES SCHOOL" but he likes it! here is Michael in a school protect, they had to investigate a person they admired and write about them, after much research, Michael wrote about the "Wright Brothers" they are the ones , that invented the airplane ( and other things) Michael wants to be an engineer when he grows up, so he thought it was very interesting. At the end of last month, the school had a "wax museum" and the kids had to act like the person they wrote about and have a poster with some information about them.. it was really fun! here are some of the pics!

I'm so sorry I haven't been posting anything in the blog, My computer broke and the one I have works really slow ( and it is the one I use to work, so I have to be very careful) Hopefully soon, we will get another one and I can go back to posting more often.

Here are some of the news, the kids are out of school ( and yes! I'm going crazy!!!) but it is fun to spend time with all of them together!( most of the time anyway!) Michael started Piano lessons, our bishop daughter is teaching him and only charging us $5 a lesson ( great deal!) Nicholle is very exited to start 1st grade, Caitlin is almost 2yrs old!! (times truly fly!!) and she has decided that wearing dippers is not fun, so she takes them off ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!! (not fun for us!!) so we are trying to patty train her...(emphases on the "TRYING!!!") Max, is enjoying work (way to much, if you ask me! he gets paid to go see movies and play wii!!!) and I'm trying to keep the balance between working, the kids, the house, primary and the big kid (dad). Life is great!!

I guess as a mother you never look forward to have " the talk" with your kids, but I have always been of the idea that I want my kids to heard things form us. Michael has been slowly asking questions about How babies get into the mom's stomach, so yesterday after asking him about school, he mention something about sex,(some kid in school was talking about it, I wanted to know what he was told (I'm so grateful we have a good relationship and he knows, he can talk to us about anything. So the conversation began! Max came home and had the "Official talk with him". My little boy is growing up!

We had so much fun in the trip to Las Vegas, the pictures above are form one night that Justin and Marisa went out, we had a make up party, it was so much fun!! We had a chance to spend one on one time with "the California Browns" and we really enjoyed it! Lainey was so impress with Michael's MP3player, they listen to some high school musical together.

Yes!!! Swimming in April!!!! it has hot there, so we got a chance to go swimming, if it was up to the kids the whole vacation would be spend in the pool

It is amazing how fast time is going by, we are in March already!! Anyway, Yesterday the Utah family got together to go rollerblading! it was so fun ( so I was told, Caitlin was not feeling well, so I stayed at home with her) the weather has been so nice lately! here are some fun pics.

Nicholle is really growing! I had parent teacher conference last week and her teacher said, she is very impressed with her ( she doesn't listen very well) but she is brilliant in school! ( great job Nicky!!) She is learning to read, so she loves books and she helps a lot by playing with Caitlin.

Michael's teacher said he is #1 in his class ( if you know Michael that is not a surprise!!!he is a smart little one!!!) He loves to listen to music and his favorite show right now is "Legend of the seeker" ( I have to admit I love watching it with him!) He is very responsible and a great help around the house (thanks Mike!!)

Max has been really busy with his work, but he always finds time to relax, we love to play "canasta" together. He is still the cub scout Master and he does a great job! and he is such a good team player in our house, he helps me a lot.. it is so fun how we fight to see who's turn it is to change Caitlin's diaper!! ( he always loses by the way!) (ha, ha)

Caitlin is getting so big ( in all ways possible! (ha ha) she is so cute!) We are trying to get her potty trained (emphasis on the trying!!!!) she loves blues clues and reading books, but specially she LOVES to spend time with Michael and Nicholle (she thinks they are so cool!) I love our family.. we have a lot of fun together!

My brother Gabriel got released as a bishop on Sunday, so we got together for that and to celebrate his coming b-date, it is fun to spend time as a family, is sad that we can't do it more often.

Max asked me to get some scouts awards for the pack meeting tonight, so Caitlin and I went after sending the other kids to school. We got there at 8:15am.... the problem was the office doesn't open till 9:00am ( thanks Max) we hang out in the car listening to Hannah Montana for 45'..yeah, it was a lot of fun!!
