It was an emotional day for everyone, specifically for Darryls kids (Justin, Melissa, Jeff and dad) because it was a reminder of Darrel"s funeral all those years ago.
Uncle Dan was Dad's dad's younger brother ( Darrell Brown)
He served in Vietnam so his funeral was a military one.
Dan was a friend to everyone! Loved to golf and he met Aunt Jane working as a flight driver for emergency helicopter 🚁 Aunt Jene was the nurse.
I heard once that Darrel"s ( Dad's dad) was a mix of uncle Dan ( funny and mischievous) and uncle Ron ( reliable and kind).
